DRK 2004-2008 // 03 Nov 2008
Been a very long time but I guess I should break the news that DR is finally over. For most of you this probably isn't a big surprise as I was always bitching about how we never film anymore.

Marc told me today he wants to leave DR and to be honest, he was the last thing holding DR together and has been for a while now. He's been the only person making an effort to organize filming days and generally trying to get Generate Damage finalized.

As for the rest of us (I hope they don't mind me speaking on their behalf), here's a quick breakdown of reasons:

- Myself, Liam and Rob haven't filmed in years since moving away to university and haven't intended to in ages.
- Creed has recently said he's given up stunts for good.
- Lozerkid lives far away in Luton so it's hard to meet up and film.
- Baz and Dan (Louzy) both work making it hard to film (plus Dan is a total pussy ;D) Love you.
- Nath is a daddy.

No hard feelings to any of the crew, it's just one of those things I guess.

The DVD will come eventually when I have time and can be bothered to sit down and edit it. I said I'd never release it until I was 100% but it's getting quite ridiculous now. I'll try have it finished sometime next year.

Apologies for this shoddily written post, I'm lazy.

Peace.

Geez // 08 Apr 2008
Was it that long ago since I updated? Hmm, we lost a bunch of comments for some reason from other news entries.

The plan from here is to try and finish filming stages on the DVD this year. I can't commit to DR anymore, which is a huge shame. I don't plan on doing stunts again if I'm honest with myself but I'm all for helping film, edit and produce Generate Damage. There's supposedly going to be a bunch of filming dates over the next few months to try and finish the DVD, not sure how it'll go but we'll see.

Comments would be appreciated, it's nice to know if people still check up here.

Also, check our guestbook. There's a lulzy post from a DCI James Hinchcliffe.

Peace out.

Haven't filmed in months. Uni's going good. Too much else going on it my life.

Also, Dan got the DR bunny tattooed on his forearm. I'm not joking, so please don't ask if it's actually real.

Peace.

Hmm // 26 Oct 2007
No idea what's the deal with DR to be honest these days. I've moved away for uni, not too far mind, but it's still a big effort to see everyone.

Right now I'm too busy with uni and having a job to film anything. In a way, I'm disappointed that I'm so heavily relied on for anything to happen.

Thought I'd keep you all in the loop.

Peace.

Adrenaline Rush // 22 Aug 2007
Before I start, I predict this update will end up as one big plug.

Anyways. Louzy, Lozerkid and I went up to Webby's last weekend to check out the advance screening for RetardZ: Adrenaline Rush. For those who aren't aware, RetardZ are a group relatively near us who we first hooked up with in 2004 to film the Weekend Of Chaos clip, and since we've had a few filming sessions together. The Adrenaline Rush DVD has been in production since 2003 and the time and effort put into the project shines through. The DVD brought about a sense nostalgia for me - back in the day when stunts were refreshing and original. It was motivating to say the least. I'm not going to go into details or attempt to review it because a) that'd spoil it and b) i fucking suck at reviewing things.

In conclusion, I urge everyone to pick up a copy of this when it's released (Date TBC). Haha.

Think that's all.

Peace.

The Future. // 07 Aug 2007
Ok, so I'm fed up of making excuses I guess.

This year has been hectic for a lot of us, my A-level exams stopped me from filming and other members have had a lot of shit on in term's of jobs and other stuff. Despite all these factors putting the DVD project on hold I guess the truth is we've lost a lot of motivation over the past couple years. Summer 2005 was the last time we went all-out and filmed, since then we've been having small filming sessions every now and then which has resulted a painfully slow accumulation of footage.

This DVD seems like mine and the crew's legacy (haha), I get people asking me all the time when Generate Damage is going to be released and how much they love what we do. Back in the day (I guess 2003-2005) we all had a passion to go out, get fucked up and kick back and enjoy the footage. Day's out with DRK would be great fun and everything flowed naturally.

In all honesty I can't remember the last time we all hooked up as a crew and filmed stuff. It's kinda sad. It's mainly down to growing up I guess, back when you're 14 or 15 you can go down like a sack of shit and walk away from it pretty much unharmed, but over the years these things take their toll. Gone are the days when I could throw milkshake over a random member of the public and get away with it.

I'm not really sure where I'm going with this. Me and Dan were going to have a serious chat about the future of Delayed Reaction but ended up getting drunk and stoned, but we do have a few options which I'm too lazy to go into.

We still have no idea when this will be released, we were aiming for late this year but that's unlikely. I don't care for people moaning and saying people will lose interest, cause at the end of the day it's their loss. It's ready when it's ready and that's all I can say.

Jesus that was long.

In other news, Creed's head on fire clip (click here if you haven't seen it) will be shown on ABC News in regards to a report about VidMax.com. So hopefully we'll have it up to view when it's done.

Peace.
